Each week we try to share some examples of the exceptional solidarity that we see in the Canon Large Format Graphics community all over the world during this turbulent period.

US customer TL Industries heard about the critical shortage of PPE (personal protective equipment) due to COVID-19, and began designing and manufacturing protective face shields for use in local hospitals using their brand new digital cutting table. Furthermore they have shared the design (cutting files) with Canon Solutions America so that other companies with the same equipment can also help their local hospitals cope with the demand for PPE.

Australian company Bailey Print Group is making complete face shields (on top of all the safety signs and floor graphics etc) using the ProCut. The local technician from Brisbane is using this mask during service calls for social distancing and as a very safe way to service the Arizona …

Our software partner Zünd sees its cutters being used for facemask production throughout its customer base in Scandinavia and Switzerland.
