Canon Family Day in Venlo; more than 3100 visitors!
From 10.00 in the morning on Saturday October 1st there was a huge interest in the 1st Canon Family Day in Venlo, and it remained so throughout the day.
Thanks to the enormous efforts of the volunteers in the different locations of our premises, we were able to put together a complete and varied program. This allowed us to introduce our family members to the many facets of Canon Production Printing in Venlo. The outstanding support by security, catering, the traffic controllers, the drivers of the electric vans, Hago and many others made the day complete.
We welcomed a total of more than 3100 visitors during the Canon Family Day. After starting with coffee and “vlaai” at our headquarters, all visitors were able to visit one of our project rooms at R&D, the assembly hall, the production of ink, toner and other consumables, the Customer Experience Center and the Océ Museum.
From the reactions of visitors, we learned that the introduction to Canon Production Printing was very positive at this 1st Family Day. Among the children, the make-up ladies and the balloon artist in the CEC were particularly popular. In addition, our one and only fantastic magician Brandon Smeets was very popular – not only with the little ones, but with the adults as well.
