In September, the first Colorado 1630 landed in Asia, more specifically: Taiwan!
FreePrinterior (自由取材). is a custom digital wallpaper and interior décor e-commerce shop offering digitally printed wallpaper and customization services.
FreePrinterior takes care of everything, so the full process from design, printing, delivery and installation, is under their control.
In other words: a total one stop service provider to B2C and B2B clients in Taiwan.
FreePrinterior first started their e-commerce shop, and in the beginning they outsourced their printing services to a print service provider using competitive, Latex technology.
They were introduced to UVgel by our Partner Jin Yun, based in Taipei.
Together they benchmarked FreePrinterior’s digital wallpaper media and FreePrinterior witnessed the Canon UVgel productivity and were very impressed with our matte FLXfinish print quality, as well as the color consistency and dimension stability, both on their line of smooth and textured wallpaper.
FreePrinterior quickly transitioned their printing services to an existing Taiwainese Colorado 1650 customer as a result of this.
In parallel, they continued to work closely with our Partner Jin Yun on benchmarking more new digital wallpaper types and quickly came to the conclusion that they had to invest now a Colorado for themselves.
In September they installed the new Colorado 1630 in combination with a Fotoba XLD170 roll cutter:
The customer has now also updated his website and proudly mentions the UVgel quality and featured the Colorado 1630 on its homepage as a symbol of the quality output!
