In the creative Strijp-S district in Eindhoven, the Netherlands – once a bustling industrial area known for being the historic home of Philips – a stunning 35 x 35-meter mural titled Kids Climbing Towards Their Future has become a vibrant symbol of hope and social mobility. Created by artist Geert Retera, this large-scale artwork combines striking imagery with a powerful poem by Fresku, visible from passing trains and transforming the cityscape.

“Kids Climbing Towards Their Future” — a vibrant 35 x 35-meter mural in Eindhoven’s Strijp-S district, brought to life through art, technology, and teamwork.
What makes this project unique is how traditional art meets cutting-edge technology. Using Canon’s UVgel printing technology, Sticker Company produced the mural in 140 precisely cut strips on high-quality vinyl. This method ensured vibrant colors, durability, and quick installation, all essential for such a massive outdoor piece.
