Print My Sign has come a long way since its beginnings in Dean Dyson’s garage back in 2011. Located in Geelong, southwest of Melbourne, Australia, the company started as a side project to produce stickers for Dean’s other business. But what began with one printer quickly grew into a full-scale print operation – now run from a dedicated production space.

As the business grew, so did the demands on production. Dean’s fleet of eco-solvent and UV roll-to-roll printers provided good output, but juggling multiple machines became a challenge. “We needed to consolidate,” he explains, “without sacrificing quality or versatility.”
That search led to the Canon Colorado M-series. Installed just before Christmas 2023, the Colorado M3W has since replaced multiple machines, reduced downtime, and elevated output quality across the board. “The durability of the inks without lamination is a game-changer,” Dean says. “We’re using more cost-effective media and still achieving top results.”
FLXfinish+ has opened up new creative possibilities too, with matte and gloss finishes produced in a single run. From roll-up banners and wall coverings to clear window graphics and flat stickers, the Colorado handles it all with speed and confidence. “We’re not doing brand-new jobs—we’re doing every job better,” Dean adds.
The modular design of the Colorado M-series also gives Dean the flexibility to scale up if needed, without switching platforms. “It’s an investment that builds trust with our customers,” he says. “They see the tech, and they know we’re serious.”
